Side-By-Side: 5 of Wands

For Day 30 of Side by Side, I drew the 5 of Wands. This card’s key themes are CONFLICT and COMPETITION. On the right, five young men swing large sticks at each other. On the left, a tense confrontation arises between farmers and railroad representatives during the Battle at Mussel Slough. Both sides are armed with rifles (representing wands), and there’s every indication that it will not end happily. Be sure that this is the hill you want to die on, or find a way to resolve the conflict peacefully.
