Side-By-Side: The World

For Day 12 of Side by Side, I drew the World. For the major theme of COMPLETION, RWS poses a woman as the central figure. The laurel wreath encircling her further symbolizes success, and the four corner images represent the four elements. On the left, our central image is the Fool and his family. Their smiles convey their success, and they wave as they embark on another journey. The sun, an eternal circle of renewal, touches the horizon. The four corner images—California brown bear, red-tailed hawk, poppies, and golden trout—represent the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water.
